Halibut
fishing in Cook Inlet should be one of the highlights of your
trip to Alaska. These deep ocean flat fish reach up to 300 lbs
and are a handful to reel up regardless of size. Limit catches
are frequent and there is no better eating than halibut fresh
off the grill. In the Spring we combine our trips with some King
Salmon trolling along the ocean coast. Large runs of King Salmon
migrate along the coast here making for great fishing with a little
diversity.
